Custom Install Explained:

Home Cinema:
The most common setup is a 5.1 speaker system comprising of 5 full-range satellite speakers surrounding the listening area and a single subwoofer providing the LFE (Low Frequency Effects), for the low end slam and rumble of a movie.

Hifi:
Usually a 2 channel system comprising of a stereo amplifier with a sound source connected like either a CD Player, Vinyl Record Deck or a streaming media device like the Sonos system. A pair of stereo speakers from small bookshelf speakers upto large floorstanding speakers for the real 2 channel enthusiasts. A good Hifi speaker replicates the purity of the original recording with absolutely no colouration whatsoever - a rarity these days with the increase of home cinema speakers. When it comes to real hifidelity, spend what you can afford - you get what you pay for!

Home Networking and Streaming Media:
The benefits of networking your home is similar to that of an office. You have a central location for all your data and media and it is distributed to various destinations throughout your office/home. In the home, this central location could house a server that holds all your digital media (Audio, Home Videos, DVD's, Photo's etc) so you can stream them around your home using your network.

Multiroom Audio:
The art to installing a multiroom audio system is first knowing exactly what the client requires throughout the home and secondly how they wish to access their media. The most common systems installed today consist of a node (central zone) in the home where all the equipment for distribution is installed and then each individual room has its control interface and speaker system to play the audio.

This can be small satellite or bookshelf speakers strategically placed on stands, shelves or on top of cabinets and cupboards or for the minimalist, in-wall and in-ceiling speakers for total discretion.

X10 Modules integrated into your home allow for appliances and lighting to be controlled from a variety of interfaces including, RF Remotes, PC's and Touch Screen PC panels.

Remote switching of appliances using a Transceiver Module and an Appliance Module allows control of appliances like - kettles, coffee machines, radios, CD players, Hifi's, water sprinklers, garage doors etc, the list goes on and on. Heating and air conditioning can also be control either via a remote control or your whole system can be completely hands-free and scheduled 24/7 via PC software.
