This LM12U X10 Lamp Module has a standard electric plug on the back with a socket on the front into which you plug in the lamp you wish to control. The Lamp Module is used to control 'on/off' and dimming of incandescent lamps. Having several lamp modules on the same X10 address allows you to control multiple lamps at once, alternatively, set your lamps to different addresses to allow custom scene/mood lighting for your home.
The LM12U X10 Lamp Module not only gives you On/Off control like the appliance module, you get dimming control of incandescent lighting also. Designed to operate with 230V AC 60W to 600W incandescent lamps.
The new 2nd generation X10 lamp module shown below, now has memory dim level, local on/off switch and soft start and soft fade - a great improvement over the older x10 lamp module.
